Airport Authority Seek For Support To Secure Facilities

                            
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is appealing for support from the Air force to enhance security at local airports.

According to a statement by FAAN spokesperson, Yakubu Dati, the organisation’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Eng Saleh Dunoma, made the appeal during a courtesy call by officials from the Airforce.

Dunoma appealed for closer collaboration between the Air force Airport Command and the Aviation Security (AVSEC) especially at this period of electioneering campaigns and the general elections.

He assured the team of the authority’s support and assistance as both institutions were pursuing a common goal.
Air force officials pledged the support in the area of security and other sundry issues.
They requested for collaboration in other areas to enable the command serve the airports effectively.
