Frankenlouie, the cat born with two faces, two mouths, two noses and three eyes is captured playing with his owner in this incredible video made before his death.
The bizarre moggy, bearing the double-barrelled moniker Frankenlouie to account for both cats Frank and Louie, died at the age of 15.
The cat's owner, Marty Stevens, adopted the strange creature after he was brought into a veterinary school where she worked.
He was the longest surviving member of a group known as Janus cats which were named after a Roman god with two faces.
Janus cats are unlikely to survive as most have congenital defects, but Frankenlouie made it into the Guinness World Records for being the oldest on record.
The Telegram of Worcester reported that the pet died of cancer on Thursday at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Massachusetts.
