Fire Razes Mansard Insurance Building in Lagos

       

A Mansard Insurance Plc on Bishop Aboyade Cole Street, Victoria Island, was razed by fire yesterday Tuesday.
The building was engulfed by fire after a fuel tanker delivering diesel suddenly burst into flames. The fire quickly developed, destroying many parts of the building.
Reports, however, indicate that a fire truck was on hand to put off the flames.
One of the eyewitnesses at the scene of the fire said no one is sure of how the fire started. “We don’t know how the fire started. The truck came to deliver diesel and the next thing we saw was flames.”
