Bird flu on the rise in China, 2 Dead, 15 Infected
                      

Two patients infected with the H7N9 strain of avian flu have died in east China's Fujian Province, the local health and family planning commission said on Friday according to Xinhua.

The commission also says 15 cases have been confirmed in the province since the beginning of the year.

Another human infection was reported in neighboring Jiangxi Province on Friday.

Besides Fujian and Jiangxi, Shanghai Municipality and Zhejiang Province have reported human cases of H7N9 this winter.
