Man wakes up from 1-year coma when he smells money in front of his nose and Ermm...he is Chinese not.. *smiling*

  
Xiao Li, 30, fell into a coma in August 2013 after spending almost a week without sleep at an internet café, where he was researching business ideas.

The man has been found to be quite obsessed with money hence he fell into the coma and was in hospital for almost a year.

Doctors at the hospital brainstormed a way to help wake the man and asked his family what he really loves most, they responded that he loves money more than anything.

After 200 days in a coma, Xiao Li’s health was fading.
When his body began to react to mild pain stimulus one day, a nurse had a genius idea.
  
The South China Morning Post reports a nurse waved a 100 yuan bill (which equates to about $16) in front of Li’s face, while a hospital staffer told him he’d have to grab the money if he wanted it.
As unlikely as it sounds, the trick worked. According to the New York Post, Xiao slowly raised a hand and, a few minutes later, was able to grasp the bill.
Perhaps Li just has a mind for money.
He’d first arrived at the hospital in August 2013 after experiencing severe cerebral hemorrhages while playing games at an Internet café in Shenzhen, China, and fell into a coma.
There’s no word on whether anyone actually gave him the 100 yuan, after all.
