A baby girl born with a facial deformity caused by gene mutation, is being worshiped in India like a god. The infant girl, born last Thursday to Om Prakash and Sarvesh, became the talk of the town and has people visiting her to worship after word spread that she embodied a facial structure reminiscing the trunk of Lord Ganesha.
According to catholic news online, The infant is still unnamed, yet her birth is being rejoiced by people believing her fate. She is reported to be the fourth child in the family and was described as very healthy.
Local officials showed up to ensure the safety of the baby, her family and the visitors, as the home is too small to be occupied by that many people at the same time.
The baby's aunty, Rajani said :"My sister-in-law gave birth to a girl at 7:00 a.m. and her face looks exactly like Lord Ganesha. Everybody is saying she is an incarnation of the god. This is why whoever hears about her is coming here to get a glimpse of the baby and are making whatever offerings possible,"
