The Inspector-General of Police,Ag. IGP Solomon E. Arase, has flagged off of a five- day capacity building Workshop organised by The Nigeria Police Medical Services (NPMS), at the International Peace Keeping Training Centre, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The workshop is aimed at strengthening the Primary health care delivery service in the Nigeria Police Medical Services (NPMS).
The Police chief said that the program is strategic owing to the critical importance of a healthy Police Force, in the realization of its desire to stamp-out all forms of criminalities in the country.
Daily Post reports that, the opening ceremony which had in attendance Dr. Ado Mohammed, (Executive Director-National Primary Health Care Development Agency), Dr Linus Awute (Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health) and other resource persons, is being attended by Heads of Nigeria Police Medical Facilities across the country.
