The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital have threatened to resume strike.
In a letter sent to the Chief Medical Director of the UCTH, Dr Thomas Agan, at the weekend, the union called for immediate payment of their 2013 promotion arrears as well as salaries.
The letter jointly signed by Charles Bassey and Icha Bassey, chairman and secretary respectively, the union said if the payments were not made on or before June 30, they should be compelled to embark on another round of strike.
JOHESU said its members had lost patience with UCTH management. The union also accused the management of insensitivity.
