CNB Fruity Talk:Date Fruit..Excellent Benefits

The Date fruit is a form of nut and it is scientifically named as Phoenix dactylifera, the date fruit has moderate levels of B-complex group of vitamins as well as vitamin K.

It contains very good amounts of pyridoxine (vitamin B-6), niacin, pantothenic acid, and riboflavin. These vitamins are acting as cofactors help body metabolize carbohydrates, protein, and fats. Vitamin K is essential for many coagulant factors in the blood as well as in bone metabolism.
Try eating about five dates per day; it’s a good source of iron. We can also make date smoothie: In a blender, mix dates, milk and ice cubes to make a healthy smoothie.
More Great Benefits Are:
  • Sexual Weakness: Dates are even beneficial for increasing sexual stamina in the human body. A handful of dates, when soaked in fresh goat’s milk or coconut milk for the night and then grinded in the same milk with the mixture of cardamom powder and honey, becomes a very useful tonic for increasing sex endurance and sterility due to functional disorders.

Reflections: Build your faith and let miracles happen

We all need to have faith.
Having faith in yourself is a combination of confidence in God and His infallibility, and faith to act on that confidence.

It requires humility to acknowledge your inability, and at the same time to acknowledge God's ability to do anything through you.

In Switzerland, a natural medicine breakthrough has occurred –  There, five holistic therapies – Homeopathy, Holistic medicine, Herbal medicine, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine – are poised to attain the same health insurance status as conventional medicine by May 2017. This means that people will be reimbursed for such treatments, so long as they're administered by certified medical doctors.

The decision comes as the result of a six-year trial period that started in 2012 to assess such for their suitability, efficacy and cost-effectiveness.

Reflections:You Need Rest To Do Your Best

Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
People are a lot like batteries; they need rest, they need recharging, and they can’t stand too much draining. You’ve got to take care of yourself.
Proper diet, proper exercise, proper rest, and proper living will keep almost anyone healthy.

Reflections:Question for Socrates...

Our attitude strongly affects how we view life: The optimist says his glass of water is half full; the pessimist says his glass of water is half empty.
Always look at the bright side of life, make yourself happy!

Socrates was sitting outside of the gates of Athens when a man came up to him and said, “I am thinking about moving into Athens. Can you please tell me what it is like to live here?”
Socrates replied, “I would be happy to tell you, but first would you please tell me what it was like in your previous home city?”

CNB Fruity Talk:Banana-Do you know that...

Bananas are a good source of B vitamins, which may help to remedy sleeplessness, mood swings, and irritability. They also contain vitamin C, as well as magnesium and potassium, which make them a great electrolyte replenisher, particularly after exercising or on a hot day.

Do you know that eating only two bananas will give you enough energy to exercise or workout for an hour and a half.

Eat just as it is, make smoothie, used in making desserts. Because of their great taste, they can be substituted for sweets and satisfy sugar cravings.

They’re fairly high in natural sugars, so rather than reaching for processed sweet junk foods, next time opt for a banana to satisfy that sweet craving. Peel and enjoy, or blend into a smoothie or juice.

Check your environment and prevent diseases

We need to maintain best practices to manage environmental issues. Little things matter, little things like keeping our environment clean, clearing our drainage and avoiding bad car emissions. Everybody should be involved both the government and citizens alike.

An estimated 12.6 million people dies as a result of living or working in an unhealthy environment in 2012. Nearly 1 in 4 of total global deaths, according to WHO.

Environmental risk factors, like air, water, soil pollution, chemical exposures, climate change and ultraviolet radiations, contribute to more than 100 diseases and injuries.
