I read somewhere about the Four undergraduate students that produced a nail polish that can reveal the presence of “date rape drugs” such as Rohypnol and GHB by changing color in their presence. You need to read this:

The Woman's Pillow

There once was a woman who did not like what a certain old and wise teacher would say to her. One day the old woman’s words were more than she could bear. It was the truth, but it made her so angry that she

These Are The Answers

Who doesn’t worry sometimes? We worry about failing in school or in our work. We worry that we won’t be able to make ends meet financially. We worry about the ones we love. We worry about our future. We worry about what’s going to happen in the world. We worry about so many things.
Most worries come down to one of two things: remorse over past failures and situations gone wrong, and fear over the future. How can we keep such fears from affecting us?
One good answer can be found in a most unexpected place—modern ocean liners. They are

Stop The Rush and Smell The Flowers

I see people frantically texting away and sometimes wonder how they would have survived “back in the day,” when “texting” involved a 30-pound typewriter, messy correction fluid or an eraser, a trip to the post office, standing in line to buy a stamp, waiting a week or two for the letter to get to its destination, and waiting another week or two for a reply.

Why is everyone so darn busy? Do we even think of the health implications?

Healthy Life According To Divine Formula

The wisest men throughout history have been aware of the relationship between good attitudes and good health. Four centuries before Christ, Hippocrates, who might be called the father of medicine, taught his students to note the emotional states and the general background of their patients. He believed that health is affected by the mind, and that to be whole a person must

Lemon Water And Turmeric is Just So Good

Starting your day with lukewarm lemon water is one of the best things you can do for your body. Lemons are loaded with vitamin C, B, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, enzymes, antioxidants, and fibers. Next to adding a host of healthy nutrients, it also kick-starts digestion, boosts the immune system, fights inflammation, and hydrates and energizes the body.

To make this healthy morning habit even better, I recently started to add turmeric too. In addition to getting the amazing benefits of lukewarm lemon water, turmeric will turn it into a nutrient-dense, cleansing energy bomb to fly through your day.
What turmeric-lemon water can do for you:

Thomas Edison's Emulating Life- Do Not Quit!

When a reporter asked Thomas Edison how it felt to have failed 25,000 times in his effort to create a simple storage battery, his reply was, “I don’t know why you are calling it a failure. Today I know 25,000 ways not to make a battery. What do you know?”

When a person is in a depressed mood, everything can seem depressing. So once you’ve put a halt to negative thoughts, replace them with good thoughts.
Sometimes, your inner voice can tell you that, you are “only a secretary.” or “just a salesman.”
With the word “only” or “just” your jobs becomes downgrading and, by extension, yourselves.

Yesterday was World Garlic Day. It is celebrated every year. So in the spirit of the celebrations. I bring you some recent studies of garlic and its benefits.
Garlic (Allium sativum L.), a member of the onion family, has been cultivated for thousands of years and is widely used for both its culinary and medicinal attributes. Garlic was one of the earliest “performance enhancing” substances.
It was traditionally used in ancient cultures to reduce fatigue and enhance the work capacity of labourers. Most notably, it was administered to Olympic athletes in ancient Greece.

Reflections:What Are You Thinking?

Take a moment to reflect on great men and women who have gone before you- those mentioned in the Bible, and others since that time- you will note how each lived for Christ and accomplished great things in His name. Some of them, such as those listed in Hebrews 11, never received all that was promised them during their time on earth.

Reflections:Lets Decide Now!

Why do some people succeed, while others always seem to fail? How can we define success?

Is success the teacher who is teaching school because that’s what he or she wanted to do? Or the mother who wanted to become a wife and mother and is doing a great job of it? Or the salesperson who wants to become a top notch salesperson and grow with the organization? Or the entrepreneur who starts their own company because that was their dream?

Reflection:Be a Good Listener

Good listening takes effort. Notice the traits of the people whom you enjoy talking to, the good listeners. They show their interest with their eyes, posture, and the ways they react. It’s a sort of indescribable mood that says, I enjoy listening to you. You’re important to me. A calmness and patience about them tells you, Take your time. I have nothing more vital to do at the moment than to hear what you have to say.

Reflections:Letter From God

A letter from God
You're on a hotline with someone special on the other end, someone who can really help you. Someone who has answers, complete with landing gear--specific answers tailor made for you in your situation.
Is that hard to believe? You may feel like you've heard or read many such promises before. Each time, they failed to deliver, even those that were advertised as "guaranteed for life." You may have believed those promises and bought into them, devoting your time and effort to attaining the rewards they painted in glowing colors before you. Now, maybe you're not so sure anymore. You may have lost your job, your financial stability, perhaps even your dream home--and worst of all, there doesn't appear to be any hope of a quick recovery. Everything you loved and valued feels like it could slip away any minute.
But will it?

“It has become a cultural issue, part of the game, it is absolutely wrong, for me it’s clearly abuse of the drugs – that’s why we use the word alarming.” said Dvorak, who left FIFA in November after 22 years.

Today Is World Water Day

water

Contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio. Absent, inadequate, or inappropriately managed water and sanitation services expose individuals to preventable health risks. This is particularly the case in health care facilities where both patients and staff are placed at additional risk of infection and disease when water, sanitation and hygiene services are lacking. Globally, 15% of patients develop an infection during a hospital stay, with the proportion much greater in low-income countries.
