Reflections:Long-Term Thinking
When
I became a mom, I got lots of advice on how to love my child. But not
until a few years ago did someone actually point out that loving a child
means wanting what’s best for them long-term. When my four daughters
were young, long-term didn’t resonate with me. Back then it was about
survival, meeting daily needs and keeping my head above water.
Now that
my kids are maturing, however, the fog is lifting. I’m no longer
surviving, but rather I am a thriving parent. The perk of this stage is
that my kids want to spend time with me. We have real conversations that
reveal their beautiful personalities.

5 Holistic treatments to be recognized alongside conventional medicine and covered by health insurance in Switzerland
In
Switzerland, a natural medicine breakthrough has occurred – There, five holistic therapies – Homeopathy, Holistic medicine, Herbal medicine, Acupuncture and Traditional
Chinese medicine – are poised to attain the same health insurance status as
conventional medicine by May 2017. This means that people will be reimbursed
for such treatments, so long as they're administered by certified medical
doctors.
The
decision comes as the result of a six-year trial period that started in 2012 to
assess such for their suitability, efficacy and cost-effectiveness.

Authorities are now checking everyone the woman was in contact with and 10 health care workers from the hospital where the woman died are under observation.
There are strong indications the woman came from Guinea when the border was closed, Nyenswah said.
CNB Fruity Talk:Wonderful Carrot
Carrot is a wonderful vegetable/tuber/ that can give you
your daily requirement of Vitamin A and many other important nutrients that are
required for good health. Make it a point to have a carrot every day, plain or
mixed with any other vegetable or fruit juice.
Raw carrot juice lowers stress and restores
normalcy to digestive function.
Carotene in carrots is an anti-oxidant that is
known to prevent degeneration of cells and is therefore, considered to have
anti-aging effects. The high content of anti-oxidants also reduces the risk of
quite a few cancers. Being a rich source of dietary fiber they also reduce the
risk of heart disease.

Reflections:You Need Rest To Do Your Best
Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
People
are a lot like batteries; they need rest, they need recharging, and
they can’t stand too much draining. You’ve got to take care of yourself.
Proper diet, proper exercise, proper rest, and proper living will keep almost anyone healthy.
