The Joint Health Workers Union (JOHESU), have put aside
their planned strike, initially scheduled to commence tomorrow, Thursday March
10th, as a mark of respect for the late Minister of State for Labor, James
Ocholi, who died in a fatal accident alongside his wife and son on Sunday March
6th.
The President of the Union, Biobelemoye Josiah, made this
known to newsmen today March 9th
Josiah said that, the suspension of the proposed strike action is to enable the workers mourn late James Ocholi who was until his death the Chairman of a Negotiation Committee set up by the Ministry of Labor to address the issues raised by the health workers union in their notice of the proposed strike sent to the ministry.
