The Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara recently received a new 1.5T Toshiba Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine from the immediate past governor of the state, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan.
With the availability of the MRI in DELSUTH, the influx of patients for medical treatment/diagnosis outside the country and its associated inconveniencies would be reduced to a very great extent.
In the practice of modern medicine, diagnostic medical imaging is so vast that accurate diagnosis of a wide variety of disease conditions can be done through medical imaging technique.
