These stomach-turning pictures show how a death-defying decorator almost met his maker.
Super lucky Zheng Lang's face was sliced open by a spinning saw disc in a horrifying freak accident.
Zheng said the accident happened so fast he didn't even realise what had happened at first.
 

But amazingly - despite the blade coming to rest 2cm into his skull and narrowly missing both eyes - the workman is expected to recover with only a slight impairment to sight in one eye.
Zheng, who was working in Fuzhou, China, was using an electric cutter to slice through metal bars when the spiked ring burrowed into his forehead at top speed.
 
  
         
"I felt something hit my forehead and blood came out," he said.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors operated to carefully remove the saw disc and broken pieces of skull.
