Governor Fashola Commissions New Fire Fighting Equipment for Lagos State
      

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, has commissioned more than 30 customized firefighting trucks and equipment to the state’s Fire Service.
The fire-fighting vehicles and other equipments which include 15 Fire Eagles, 15 Rapid Eagles, two Aerial telescopic turn-table, ladder and two Maintenance vehicle workshops on Wheel as well as fire fighting Apparel for the personnel.
These were handed over at a ceremony at the Lagos State Fire Service Headquarters Ikeja Lagos.
In his remarks before presenting the equipment, the Governor stressed the need for citizens to assist the professional fire-fighters to do the job without hindrance.
He appealed to residents to protect and maintain street signs in their localities to enable services to locate them in times of emergency as well as desist from hampering the work of the emergency responders.
